Trans Siberian & Trans Mongolian train journeys

Life on the longest railway line in the world

Moscow to Vladivostok or Beijing to Moscow, through the remote, fascinating and peaceful lands of Mongolia. The Trans Siberian and the Trans Mongolian railway systems are vast networks of rail tracks which gifts you of the incredible opportunity to slowly crossing the biggest country on earth and its unique and diverse neighbor coughs, Mongolia and China.

There is no only one way to travel on the line who changed Russia at the end of the XIX century. You can make your own Trans Siberian and Trans Mongolian adventure. There are no specific trains to board one but those which every local use: the one where you share the cabin with working mums and their kids or with lovely babushka who tries to feed you with their homemade Pelmeni (Russian Ravioli) or retired couples on their way to a sanatorium on the other side of the country. Where ever you decide to stop or go through you won’t feel the days passing bye. You will slowly get to know countries of unique beauty, rich history, shy but friendly and open-hearted people and hearty cuisine.

Every time it is like the first

9258 km or ‘only’ 7621 km for the Trans Mongolian version. Whatever thousands of kms we add on one of the most fascinating rail journeys on earth, it won’t feel it. In that distance, in those days there is so much to feel, to eat, to talk, to learn, to look at, to rest, to recharge, to think of, to don’t think of… Every one of my five journeys has been unique, extremely different and new. Russia is a country you fall in love with slowly time after time. Mongolia is a place you fall in love straight away and you can never get tired of that giant sky and that peace it gifts you. China and its uniqueness will fascinate you and trap you and teach you a new lesson, every single time.
